The meeting of the Minister of Defence with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan




The Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Gabit Syzdykbekov today.

At the beginning of the meeting, it was emphasized that the opening of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Belgrade last year is a confirmation of the growing relations between the two friendly countries, which was specially contributed by the visit of the President of the Republic of Serbia and the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić to Kazakhstan in October 2018.

Minister Vulin thanked the Republic of Kazakhstan for not recognizing the so-called state of Kosovo and providing support to the Republic of Serbia in its preservation of sovereignty and territorial integrity.

It has been pointed out at the meeting that the upward trend of good relations between the two countries which have no open issues opens up the prospect of developing cooperation in the field of defence, and that joint effort can help develop the military to military and the military-technical cooperation to the mutual interest.

Ambassador Gabit Syzdykbekov thanked for the first reception by the Minister of Defence, confirming good and friendly relations between the two countries, which allows for building cooperation more intensively in a number of areas where the two armies find mutual interest.
