Youngest reserve Second Lieutenants of the Serbian Armed Forces Promoted



The ceremony on the completion of the education of the September 2018 class of Reserve officers was held today at the “General Jovan Mišković” barracks. 11 Technical Service, 17 Quartermaster and 11 Medical Service officers were promoted to Reserve Second Lieutenants.

Congratulating the youngest Reserve Officers, Acting Dean of the Military Academy, Colonel Dragan Trifković, PhD pointed out that this generation of Reserve Second Lieutenants demonstrated patriotic feelings, high morale, unity and perseverance which shows through the results they achieved.
- Reserve Lieutenants, by today's decree of the President of the Republic of Serbia, you are lined up with the previous generations of reserve officers of the Serbian Armed Forces capable and ready to help our homeland in the times of hardship. The decision to enrich the biographies of academic citizens with military skills, detach from families and having completing college to study hard again and practice is worthy of respect and admiration. In a short time you successfully mastered the demanding military training, passed numerous exams in general and military subjects of technical, logistical and medical specialties, but also completed internship in our units – said Colonel Trifković.

Colonel Trifković reminded the Reserve officers not to stop at this, but to continue to monitor contemporary trends in the development and use of military technology, war arts, assistance to the population in the event of natural disasters, the development of technical, logistics and medical services.
The most successful Reserve Second Lieutenants were presented with inscribed hand watches. The best in the class of Reserve officers of the Military Academy are Reserve Second Lieutenant Miloš Baljošević, Reserve Second Lieutenant Nikola Lešnjak and Reserve Second Lieutenant Slobodan Gvozdenac.

In the class of Reserve officers of the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy this year, the best are Reserve Second Lieutenant Mladen Pavlović, Reserve Second Lieutenant Aleksandra Stanković and Reserve Second Lieutenant Ivan Andrić.
The ceremony was attended by the Head of the Military Healthcare Department, Brigadier General Uglješa Jovičić, representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces, Collegiums of the Commandant of the Military Academy, parents and friends of the Reserve Second Lieutenants.
