Minister Vulin: Kraljevo has finally been properly connected with the world



Minister of Defense Aleksandar Vulin and director of the company Aerodromi Srbije d.o.o Zoran Pavlović signed a contract in Kraljevo today to enable the use of a part of the Morava airport for civil aviation traffic.

Speaking about the significance of the signed agreement, Minister Vulin stressed that today is a great day for Kraljevo, which has finally been properly connected with the world.
- It has long been a dream in the making that Kraljevo would finally have an airport and here we have it. This is a great opportunity for the development of the city of Kraljevo, for the development of tourism, as well as the opportunity for the development of the economy in Kraljevo, and, of course, the Serbian Armed Forces will continue to use the airport. All the functions of security and defense of the country will be preserved, we only have another opportunity to help the citizens of Kraljevo at our disposal and as you can see, every investment in the Serbian Armed Forces is an investment in the quality of life of each of us. Where the Armed Forces are, there you have order, there is law, there is success – Minister Vulin pointed out.

The Mayor of Kraljevo, Predrag Terzić, emphasized that the opening of the “Morava” airport in Lađevci is a dream shared by successive generations of Kraljevo citizens which was realized thanks to the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, and above all, the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and a promise held.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Construction, Traffic and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlović and Director Zoran Pavlović on behalf of the company Aerodromi Srbije d.o.o. signed the Contract on non-monetary role of the Republic of Serbia in the company Aerodromi Srbije d.o.o.

Today’s signing ceremony at the Kraljevo City Administration building was also attended by the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Milan Mojsilović, Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense, Major General Duško Žarković, representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces, as well as representatives of the local self-government and the city of Kraljevo.
