Defence Minister's New Year message
I send my warmest good wishes to all members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces for the New Year's holidays.
In the past period, we have demonstrated that we have high quality human resources and that we can enter the coming year satisfied with the achieved results.
By using knowledge, experience and demonstrating high-level professionalism during exercises in the country and abroad, and participating in multinational operations, you have proven, just as many times before, that you can respond to all challenges, giving the best contribution to strengthening the reputation of the Serbian Armed Forces in the country and the world. Members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, through their unselfish efforts in providing assistance to the citizens of Serbia, once again demonstrated the inextricable link between the people and the Armed Forces.
The year ahead of us is full of challenges, and one of the main tasks will certainly be the protection of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia and participation in the security structures for the preservation of peace both in the region and beyond.
Convinced that in the next year we will jointly manage to accomplish the planned tasks and fulfil the obligations that are ahead of us, I wish your families and you a lot of health, happiness and success in the year 2019.
