Minister Vulin: “Century of Victors” has changed how Serbian Armed Forces are perceived

- The exercise “Century of Victors” has significantly changed the way in which our armed forces are perceived, not only in our country, but abroad as well. The demonstration of our capabilities during the “Century of Victors”, the way in which an armed force is capable of dealing with every challenge, has significantly changed how it is perceived – from the change of the actual plans to the respect our army deserves after demonstrating what it is made of – said Minister of Defense Aleksandar Vulin. Minister Vulin, accompanied by Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Milan Mojsilović, visited the Army Training Center at the “General Pavle Jurišić Šturm” barracks in Požarevac today, where he also observed the training of soldiers on voluntary military service as part of  “Septembar 2018” generation.

The Minister of Defense also concluded that there are few armed forces in the region that would be able to carry out an exercise such as the “Century of Victors”.

- All those who deal with the armed forces, all those who follow the development of the Serbian Armed Forces know what we have achieved and know what our armed force has proved to be like before the domestic and foreign public. I want to thank all the members of the Serbian Armed Forces for their enthusiasm and sincere devotion, for the dedication they have shown in the “Century of Victors”, as without them, without the love for their calling, without the love for the homeland, no training and no equipment would suffice – said the Minister of Defense.
