Meeting of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team
A two-day meeting of the European Defense Agency EOD Project Team, hosted by the Operations Department of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, started today at the Guards Club at Topčider.
Participants in the 24th meeting discussed professional topics and joint projects. Brigadier General Duško Žarković emphasized that for the Serbian Armed Forces, participation in the Project Team was significant for enhancement of cooperation with the European Defence Agency and partner countries through the exchange of experience, following modern doctrinal solutions, standards and procedures, following the development of modern materiel as well as protective equipment and other contents.
The meeting was attended by experts from the European Defence Agency, the Joint Research and Analytical Laboratory of the European Defence Agency, the NATO Center of Excellence for Combating Improvised Explosive Devices from Madrid, permanent members of the Project Team from Austria, Germany, France, Ireland, Spain, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Cyprus and Serbia.
