Additional Programme of the Exhibition PARTNER 2017
In the framework of additional programme for the 8th International Exhibition of Arms and Military Equipment PARTNER 2017, a two day expert gathering is taking place of the Group of manufacturers of arms and military equipment established in the framework of Serbian Chamber of Commerce, which gathered the representatives of academic community, specialised military technical institutions, defence industry and their sub-contractors. The main topic is “The Influence of Industry 4.0 on Development of Defence Technological and Industrial Base of the Republic of Serbia”. The introductory address was given by Major General Bojan Zrnić PhD, Head of Department for Defence Technologies in the Ministry of Defence.
In their addresses, the participants have presented the strategic significance of the concept of the Industries 4.0 for modern technological solutions that can be applied in the field of research, development and production of arms and military equipment. Cybernetic and physical production systems were presented together with new models of engineers’ education in the function of transforming defence industry plants, as well as the contemporary production and information technologies and new materials whose application has great prospects in defence sector.
Apart from the expert gathering, a workshop is also being held organised by military quality assurance under the title “Place and Role of Leaders in Terms of Requirements of the Standards of Management System”, and on the final day of the Exhibition another workshop will be organised by Directorate for Standardisation and Metrology titled “Codification of the Assets of Arms and Military Equipment”.
