Đorđević assessed that bilateral relations between Serbia and Italy are constantly improving and stressed that the highest-level meetings confirm mutual respect.
The Minister thanked for Italy's support to the European integration of our country, as well as for the professional attitude of the members of the Italian Armed Forces engaged in KFOR.
Minister Pinotti said that Italy is the advocate of Serbia's accession to the European Union and that the strategic partnership is a confirmation of the qualitative continuation of bilateral cooperation and dialogue at the highest level.
Both sides noted that the defence cooperation is excellent and that it follows the overall bilateral relations. In addition to the fact that a large number of bilateral activities are carried out in different areas on a yearly basis, the crown of the cooperation is a joint participation in multinational operations, especially joint engagement in the UNIFIL mission in Lebanon.
