CISM General Assembly and Congress
The 72nd CISM General Assembly and Congress 2017 is held in Athens from the 2nd until the 8th May with chiefs of Delegations and delegates from more than 90 CISM members countries.
At the Conference new chiefs of Delegations will be presented, as well as the current decisions of the Board of Directors. There will be discussion on Strategic goals and CISM Business Plan for the period 2017-2020, the budget plans for 2017 and 2018 and there will be analysis of the work of CISM Sports Committees in 2017.
During the Conference there will also be discussion on possibilities of collaboration at a regional level and organization of military sports events in the following period, the continuation of organization of sports camps and joint preparations for international sports competitions, organization and participation of CISM member countries at the 3rd CISM World Cadet Games in India. There will be presentation of the organization of the 4th CISM World Winter Games 2021 in Germany, the analysis of the organization of the 3rd CISM World Winter Games in Sochi and the 2nd CISM World Football Cup in Oman. Furthermore, a host country for the next CISM General Assembly and Congress in 2018 will be chosen.
The Republic of Serbia is represented at the 72nd CISM General Assembly and Congress 2017 by Brigadier General Sinisa Radovic, the Chief of the Delegation of the Republic of Serbia to CISM.
