First Award to “Zastava Film” at “Zlatna buklija” Festival
At the recently finished 12th International Documentary Film Festival “Zlatna buklija” (Golden Flask) in Velika Plana, the Military Film Centre “Zastava Film” was given the first award “Zlatna buklija” for three documentary films.
Among more than 200 films, “Zastava Film” was given the prestigious award for three films presented this year at the festival. These are the films “SRBCON 10”, “In a visit to the Serbian peacekeepers in the Central African Republic” and the documentary film “The Toplica Uprising”.
According to the jury, for the sensible and visually expressed approach to dramatic combat in the warring areas of Lebanon and the Central African Republic, the awards were given to journalists Biljana Miljic and Vladimir Vjestic, as well as editors Dusan Milunovic and Marko Dragisic, whereas the director Dragana Milosevic and editor Marko Dragisic were awarded for the contemporary and expressive presentation of the historic data in the film “The Toplica Uprising”.
At the central award giving ceremony, the Director of the Military Film Centre “Zastava Film” Lieutenant Colonel Goran Ikonic received the awards on behalf of the film centre and the awarded.
