Visit to NATO Support and Procurement Agency




 
The delegation of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces led by Head of Defence Technology Department of the Material Resources Sector Major General Bojan Zrnic has visited the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), headquartered in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Capellen.
 
The topics of mutual interest have been discussed at the meeting such as the possibility of cooperation within the Operational Logistic Support Concept (OLSC), modalities and potential for using various services of logistic support rendered by NSPA, which have become available
to our side in accordance with the Agreement on the provision of logistic services between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and NATO Support and Procurement Organisation (NSPO), as well as further activities within the Trust Fund for surplus ordnance disposal using the capacities of the Technical Overhaul Facility Kragujevac.    
 
At the end of the meeting both sides have expressed a wish for enhancement of collaboration in the sphere of logistic support according to needs and capacities. It was concluded that the services rendered by NSPA could substantially contribute to the improvement of logistic support of the Serbian Armed Forces units engaged in multinational operations, as well as reaching set partnership goals.
