Acting Assistant Minister for Defence Policy Appointed to the Duty




At the session held on 10th March 2017, the Government of the Republic of Serbia passed a Decision on appointing Milan Mojsilović as the Acting Assistant Minister of Defence for Defence Policy.
 
Before the present appointment, Major General Milan Mojsilović was the Head of Military Mission of the Republic of Serbia to NATO in Brussels since 2013.
 
He started his military career in 1986 serving as a conscript in Reserve Officers’ School of the Armoured-Mechanised Units. During his career he discharged the duties from platoon commander to the Serbian Armed Forces Service Commander, primarily on command and operational assigned positions in the units and commands of the Serbian Armed Forces.
 
He graduated from the Military Academy, Command and Staff Course and National Defence School in Belgrade. Among significant operational duties, he was the Head of Operations Division in Operations Command of the Serbian Armed Forces, Deputy Commander of the Joint Operations Command of the General Staff and Army Commander.
 
Major General Mojsilović was born on 3rd August 1967 in Kosovska Mitrovica. He is married and has one son.
