General Dikovic attends EU Military Committee meeting



Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Ljubisa Dikovic attended a meeting of the European Union Military Committee held at the EU Council building in Brussels.

The meeting was dedicated to training and advisory missions of the EU, and was attended by chiefs of general staff of the EU Member States, as well as of Canada, Moldova, Georgia, Switzerland, Ukraine, Montenegro and Serbia, and the commanders of EU training missions presented their experiences and the problems they faced in the course of their engagement.

SAF currently participates in the multinational EU training mission in Somalia (EUTM Somalia), the European naval force operation in Somalia (EUNAVFOR Somalia - Operation ATALANTA) and the EU training mission for Malian Armed and Security Sector Forces (EUTM Mali), where 24 Serbian troops are engaged. The Serbian Armed Forces also took part in the EU military operation in the Central African Republic (EUFOR RCA), which was completed on March 15.
