Protocol on the donation of the Kingdom of Denmark signed



On 21 November 2013 the protocol for the donation of computer equipment by the Danish Directorate for International Military Cooperation was signed on behalf of the Ministries of Defence of the Kingdom of Denmark and the Republic of Serbia , (retired colonel) Kurt Refsgard and Head of Multilateral Affairs in the Department of MVS Colonel Milan Konjikovac .

During the signing of the Protocol , Colonel Konjikovac thanked for the donation , worth 19,000 euros , which has been allocated to equip IT equipment of the International Military Cooperation Department of Defense Policy Sector , in order to raise the level of equipment and quality of the IT infrastructure Management. He thanked Colonel Refsgard for the personal commitment to improve IT support to the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces .

The Kingdom of Denmark , with over 4 million worth of donations since 2004. , is one of the most significant donor countries and has been actively involved in the process of defense reform . In the past gave it gave a great contribution to the establishment and development of search and rescue service , flight safety , through projects retraining of redundant military personnel ( PRISMA ) , English Language Teaching ( PELT ) , education and training of the MoD and the Baltic Defence College and development of information networks .

Thus, substantial assistance was influenced by the intensity and quality of cooperation between the two countries in the field of defense .
Both sides agreed that the number of planned and completed activities on an annual basis is constantly increasing where both sides expressed hope that the trend of such a fruitful cooperation would continue in the coming period in the main fields of cooperation.
