Minister Rodic with the representatives of the Vietnamese armed forces



Defense Minister Nebojsa Rodic met today with representatives of the Armed Forces of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The topic of discussion was to consider options for the development of bilateral military cooperation, strengthening partnership and friendly relations, as well as further and faster improvement of general cooperation.

It was pointed out at the meeting that the republic of Serbia’s interest was to have an agreement on cooperation in the field of defense signed by the end of the year, which would create a legal framework for future cooperation in all fields of mutual interest.

Representatives of the Armed Forces of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam expressed satisfaction with their visit to Serbia, stressing that the cooperation in the field of defense should be restored to the former level and invited the Minister Rodić that in future visiting Vietnam.

Common stated it is necessary to continue the dialogue with senior delegation to promote cooperation in the field of defense, particularly the military-economic and scientific-technical, and the transfer of technology and knowledge in the field of defense industry.
