Military Bilateral Cooperation Plan with Poland signed



Head of the Directorate for International Military Cooperation Brigadier General Ljubomir Nikolic, has signed with the Polish Defense Attaché in Belgrade, Colonel Jyrzy Ščepančik a bilateral military cooperation plan for the 2013.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation achieved in the field of defense and the tendency of its further improvement. The number of planned activities in the 2013 represents a qualitative progress and continued cooperation in established areas within the limited budget.

The focal areas of cooperation are aviation military medicine, military law, religious service in the armed forces, training and preparation for participation in multinational operations.

He especially emphasized the importance of signing the Agreement on cooperation in the field of defense between the Serbian and Polish government on the 10th June this year during a meeting of Polish Defense Minister Tomaz Simoniaka and Defense Minister Aleksandar Vucic, and the establishment of cooperation and sending the first Serbian officer to continue his studies in Poland.
