Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan with Turkey signed
Acting Chief of the International Military Cooperation Colonel Predrag Kraljevic and the Defense Attaché of Turkey to Belgrade Colonel Ridvan Yildaz signed at the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan for 2012 yesterday.
The plan envisions activities principally in the areas of education and training. It was agreed to continue cooperation through participation in joint exercises, special units and both sides confirmed mutual interest in improving cooperation in military economy in the future.The most important activity during 2012 will be signing an Agreement on Turkey’s donation for conversion of Morava airport.
Serbia and Turkey have well-developed military cooperation through involvement in regional security integrations and initiatives.
