COMMUNIQUE
Serbian President Boris Tadic, in accordance with his constitutional and legal powers, issued decrees as of 12.12.2011 by which the following officers are promoted or appinted to new positions:
A)the following are appointed:
1. SAF Chief of General Staff –
Lieutenant-General Ljubisa Milinko Dikovic.
2. Director (chief inspector) of the Defense Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense - Lieutenant General Aleksandar Zivkovic
3. Commander of the Army
- Brigadier General Milan Mojsilovic.
4. Chief of GS Human Resources Department (J-1)
- Colonel Petar Bosokovic.
B) the following are promoted to a higher rank:
1. into the rank of Major General
- Brigadier General Jovanovic Danko.
2. into the rank of brigadier general
- Colonel Vaso Gujic,
- Colonel Dejan Jankovic,
- Colonel Marijan Jovanovic.
3. an extraordinary promotion into the rank of Major General
- Brigadier General Milan Mojsilovic.

CHIEF OF GENERAL STAFFSerbian Army Chief of General Staff Lieutenant-General Ljubisa Dikovic was born in Uzice on 22 May 1960. He completed the Military Academy, department of infantry, completed in 1984.
In 1996 he graduated from the GS college and the School of National Defense in 2000.
He has been commander of the Army since 6 March 2009.
DIRECTOR OF DEFENSE INSPECTORATEDirector of the Defense Inspectorate Lt. Gen. Aleksandar Zivkovic was born on 16 April 1960 in Belgrade. He graduated from the Military Academy, department of infantry, completed in 1983.
From the GS college he graduated in 1997, and the School of National Defense in 2004.
He has been the Commander of the Training Command since 27 February 2009.
COMMANDER OF THE LAND FORCESArmy Commander Major General Milan Mojsilovic was born on 3 August 1967 in Kosovska Mitrovica. He completed the Military Academy, department for armored-mechanized units in 1991.
He finished command staff school in 1998, and GS training in 2006.
He has been on the duty of Deputy Commander of SAF Joint Operations Command since 24 October 2007.
CHIEF OF THE GS HR DEPARTMENT The newly appointed Chief of the GS HR department Colonel of the Riverine Petar Boskovic was born on 18 September 1961 in Belgrade. He graduated from the Naval Military Academy in 1984.
He completed the school for command staff officers in 1996, and GS training in 2007.
He has been the Head of the MoD Public Relations Department since 13 July 2007.
CHIEF OF SAF GS LOGISTICS DEPARTMENTChief of Logistics SAF Major General Danko Jovanovic was born in Zvornik on 17 December 1956. He graduated from the Technical Military Academy in 1982.
He finished his specialization in 1998 and his Ph.D in 2007.
He has been the the Chief of Logistics of the SAF since 4 March 2010.
CHIEF OF THE MINISTER'S CABINETChief of the Minister’s Cabinet, Ministry of Defence Brigadier General Vaso Gujic was born on 14 May the 1961 in Zenica. He graduated from the Naval Military Academy, in 1984.
He completed his command staff school in 1999, and GS training in 2004.
He has been on duty of the head of Minister’s cabinet since 1 April 2011.
CHIEF OF THE MILITARY POLICEChief of the Military Police Brigadier General SAF Dejan Jankovic was born on 15 January 1964 in Kosovska Mitrovica. He graduated from the Military Technical Academy in 1987.
He completed the school for command staff training in 2002, and GS training in 2007.
He has been on duty of the Chief of the Military Police since18 March, 2011.
HEAD OF THE MILITARY MEDICAL ACADEMY The Chief of the Military Medical Academy, Brigadier General Marijan Novakovic was born on 3 August 1957th in Vucitrn.
School of Medicine, completed in 1982. years, specializes in plastic surgery since 1988. year, a medical doctor since 1998. year.
The duties of the Chief of the Military Medical Academy from 7 March, 2011. year.
COMMANDER OF THE SAF GUARDSAF Guard Commander Brigadier General Milomir Todorovic was born on 29 November 1965 in Vitez. He finished the Military Academy, department of infantryin 1990.
He graduated from the General Staff School in 2000 , and GS training in 2008.
He has been the commander of the Guard since 15 March, 2011.
DEAN OF THE MMA SCHOOL OF MEDICINEDean of the MMA School of Medicine, the Defense University
Dean of the MMA School of Medicine, the Defense University Brigadier General Miodrag Colic was born on 23 August 1953 in Aleksandrovac. He graduated from the school of medicine in 1977. He finished his specialization and his MSc in 1983 and Ph.D. in the 1987 year.
He has been a Corresponding member of Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts since 2003, and a regular member since 2009.
He has been the dean of the MMA Faculty of Medicine, the University of Defense since 25 November 2011.
