Minister Vulin: Walker shared joy over the bombing of Serbia with Thaci, it would only be fair for him to share Thaci’s indictment

"I am very disappointed that William Walker was not included in the war crimes indictment together with Hashim Tachi. In 1999, Walker actively worked on the justification of crimes over Serbs, abusing the OSCE mission. Only for his role in fabricating crimes in the village of Račak did he deserve to be brought before the war crimes court", said the Minister of Defence, Aleksandar Vulin, today.

He pointed out that “all the killed Serbian civilians, policemen and soldiers, as well as their families, have the right to know how Walker preserved and created the so-called KLA and which of their crimes he justified, and which he organized”.

- Walker can stand trial for the crimes in Kosovo and Metohija, but also for the crimes in El Salvador where he actively supported “death squads” and their executions of political opponents. Where there is Walker, there are crimes. He and Thaci shared joy over the bombing of Serbia as well as recognitions, so it would only be fair for him to share Thaci’s indictment, verdict and prison cell – Minister Vulin said.
