A telegram of condolences to the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, General Sergey Shoygu

The Minister of Defence, Aleksandar Vulin, sent a telegram of condolences to the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, General of the Army, Sergey Shoygu, on the death of the members of the Russian Armed Forces who lost their lives in the crash of a Mi-8 helicopter in the Moscow region.

The telegram reads as follows:

“I was deeply saddened to hear the news about the death of the members of the Russian Armed Forces in the crash of Mi-8 helicopter in the Moscow region.

Throughout the history, Serbs and Russians have always selflessly sacrificed themselves for their homeland. However, unspeakable pain remains when young people lose their lives, and family and friends remain forever inconsolable.

At this difficult time, members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces feel deep sympathy for the brotherly Russian people and their armed forces.
Please, convey our sincere condolences to the families of the victims“.
