The Serbian Armed Forces started providing security to reception centers in Šid
Based on the order of the President of the Republic and the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, the decision of the Minister of Defence, Aleksandar Vulin, and the order of the Chief of the General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, the Serbian Armed Forces have started providing security to the reception centres on the territory of the Municipality of Šid, in order to provide assistance to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Units of the Serbian Armed Forces have been deployed to the "Adaševci" Reception Centre, and the deployment of units tasked with securing the remaining two reception centres in Šid - "Principovac" and "Šid - Station" is in progress.
The Serbian Armed Forces will, as before, protect the safety of all citizens, carry out orders and take all measures for the completion of assigned tasks in accordance with the law and the Service Regulations.
