Minister Vulin: As long as Vučić is President we will remain military neutral country

We will remain military neutral as long as Aleksandar Vučić is president of Serbia, said Minister of Defense Aleksandar Vulin for the morning program of Pink TV.

Asked by the hosts to comment on the media reports that NATO would exert additional pressure on us by forming the “Kosovo Army” and that their goal was “to break us, throw us on our knees or suck us into their system” where we would become part of that pact, causing the idea of our military neutrality to collapse. Minister Vulin clearly stated that as long as Aleksandar Vučić is the president of Serbia, we will remain military neutral.

- Military neutrality is one of the most important strategic goals of Serbia and we will remain neutral. As long as Aleksandar Vučić is president of Serbia, we will remain military neutral, regardless of the type or source of pressure, Minister of Defense pointed out.

Speaking about those who are most interested in forming the Kosovo Army, the Minister said it was well known who the drug cartels and drug dealers were.

- It is well known that drug cartels come from Kosovo and Metohija and the most powerful drug mafia comes from there. It is so peculiar that when you talk to representatives of the international community and ask them whether they have noticed that in their respective cities, the ones who poison their children and sell drugs are usually Albanians from Kosovo; whether they have noticed some strange coincidence that goes hand in hand with their attempts to establish them a state. There is usually no answer to these questions, said Minister Vulin, adding that there is “a terrible hypocrisy present that regretfully we have to live with.”

- On the one hand, pressure is often exerted on Serbia – when it is stated that we are in the wrong in chapters 21, 22, 23, or various other chapters, or when they say that the rule of law must be stronger, more pervasive, and so on, and then at that instant they go to Kosovo and Metohija and tell us – you do not even have to abide by your own constitution when it comes to transforming the “Kosovo Army”. They say it does not matter. I wish they would decide once and for all and tell us what they want. They claim that they want us all in the European Union, and yet not all of us have to respect the law in the same manner. It holds for Serbia that we must obey the letter of the law even closer than the members of the European Union; and they allow for this Kosovo they are trying to make into a state, not to respect the Constitution and just go along with their own design, Minister Vulin said.
