Minister Vulin: The Serbian Armed Forces takes care of its members
Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin and Lieutenant General Milan Mojsilović, Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, have handed out today the keys to 23 apartments to members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, in the Great War Hall of the Old General Staff building.
As Minister Vulin pointed out, the Serbian Armed Forces carefully builds and restores the system that was destroyed in a planned and deliberate manner.
- The distribution of these apartments is a proof that the Serbian Armed Forces takes care of its members, whether they are active or retired. No one who belonged and belongs to the Serbian Armed Forces will be left without care and appropriate assistance from the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces. The Serbian Armed Forces takes care of its personnel - minister of defence said.
He added that over the past year the housing issue was solved for 1,242 active and retired members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
- So we wish to show once again that we are creating a system that was destroyed. Anyone who tie their fate to the Serbian Armed Forces, anyone who professionally dedicate themselves to the Serbian Armed Forces, the state of Serbia, and the security of their citizens should know that a system is being restored that will take care of them from the moment they join the army and as long as they live. We take care of the health of our members, of their working conditions, their material position and everything they need to perform their functions, but we also take care of their families, their housing issues, health and everything that makes life really important. We are restoring the system and the Serbian Armed Forces is concerned about its own personnel, Minister Vulin concluded.
Captain Vladimir Mosurović, serving in Zrenjanin, expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, as he solved his housing problem after 12 years.
