Telegram of condolences to the Minister of Defence of Iran




 
On the occasion of the terrorist act during the military parade in Ahvaz, the city of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin, sent a telegram of condolences to the Minister of Defence of Iran Amir Hatami.
 
The telegram reads:
 
“The terrorist attack that occurred in Ahvaz during the military parade reminds us of the fact that unpredictability is one of the biggest threats to citizens and their freedom. Such events must strengthen our willingness to confront all the evils that terrorism entails indicating that that today's challenges, risks and threats equally endanger all countries and nations.
 
In this difficult moment, my thoughts and the thoughts of all the members of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces are with the Iranian people.
 
On behalf of all members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and me personally, please pass my sincere condolences on to the families of the perished and wishes for speedy recovery to the injured.”
