Minister Vulin: Armed Forces of Kosovo are a Threat to Peace
Asked to comment on the news from Kosovo and Metohija about the US official Wes Mitchell stating that the USA supports the establishment of the Armed Forces of Kosovo, Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin stressed that the Resolution 1244 was more than clear.
- There can be only one armed force in Kosovo and Metohija, and that force is KFOR. As long as the Security Council of the United Nations does not change its decision, it will remain like this, and that is the only possible and only acceptable state for Serbia. There cannot be any armed force in Kosovo and Metohija, no Armed Forces of Kosovo whatsoever, and they can be established solely by brute force. Establishment of such illegal armed formation represents a threat to peace and stability in the entire Balkans – stated Minster Vulin.
