Minister Vulin: Trajal is our Strategic Partner

“Trajal Corporation” is our strategic partner. It is in our interest for that company to operate well, to be able to supply us with everything that we require and to employ the people of its local community and ensure better life for the ones living in this town – saod Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin, who today visited “Trajal Corporation” in Kruševac and met the management of that company.

- The Ministry of Defence will continue pursuing the policy led by Aleksandar Vučić when he was the Minister of Defence, and Bratislav Gašić as well, and the policy of Aleksandar Vučić while he was the President of the Government, who saw in Serbian defence industry a huge developmental chance for our country. Last year the Ministry of Defence ordered protection masks from Trajal in the value of million euros and that corporation can also expect a similar level of procurement by the end of the year. But it is very important that after the conclusion of Reorganisation plan prepared in advance, the Ministry of Defence is going to be ready to incorporate Trajal in Serbian defence industry, which means that this company will continue to grow and develop and continue to hire new workers. The ones working in Trajal now can be assured in the continuation of the production and in their destiny in a stable corporation. Serbian defence industry is of huge interest of our country and it will not be left without control and care of the state even after the passing of the new law – said Minister Vulin and confirmed that the state does not withdraw from Serbian defence industry.

- On the contrary, we are strengthening our position by stipulating that the state of Serbia cannot lose the majority capital not in a single company that belongs to the group of Serbian defence industry. Good days are waiting for Trajal, but it is certain that it would not be like that if there had not been for such management and workers, because no one can secure the future to a company if he does not work well. This company operates well, the people who manage it are exceptional experts, and the workers have proved that they are hardworking and dedicated to their collective, hence the Serbian Armed Forces have a good partner and they always have a possibility to make procurements from national producer, and that is certainly our strategic decision – to be supplied by national producers, with national resources and thus develop ourselves in the best manner always certain of quality and certain of deadlines – said Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin, who was presented with a plaque of the company by the company director for “a special contribution to survival and revitalisation of Trajal Corporation”.

On that occasion, Director of “Trajal Corporation” Miloš Nenezić reminded that Minister Vulin had helped that company in his capacity as the Minister for Labour, Social and Veteran Affairs just like he did today.

- Minister Vulin is one of the people who enabled the revitalisation of our company and its today’s existence. Of course, if it had not been for the effort of our workers, management and the union, we would not stand here today. The Serbian Armed Forces have always provided a strong support to this country and our corporation in particular, while Minister Vulin gave us the encouragement in last several years, just like President Vučić and Minister Gašić. Owing to that support, today we have a stable corporation which deals better and better – said Director of Trajal and particularly pointed out the significance of the investments of the Republic of Serbia and Serbian Armed Forces.

- We hope to ever better future and that we will get Trajal on its feet – said Nenezić and confirmed that during the meeting they also discussed the realisation of investments and the future cooperation with the Minsitry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces.

He pointed out that it was the second year that the company had completed with a positive result and that during the year it planned to increase its production and achieve even better results, and it also planned more investments and reduction of costs along with employment of new workers.
