Telegram of Condolences for Minister Shoygu



On the occasion of the tragic death and suffering of the members of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the terrorist attack against air base in Syria, Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin sent a telegram of condolences to the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, General Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoygu. The telegram reads as follows:
 
“General, Dear Friend,
 
Please accept the heartfelt condolences extended on behalf of the members of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces and me personally, on the occasion of the tragic death of Mi-24 helicopter pilots and the death of the members of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the terrorist attack against air base in Hmeymim in Syria.
 
I take this opportunity to once again pay homage and give recognition to all the members of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation who with their courage and self-sacrifice contributed to defeat of terrorist forces of the Islamic State in the Middle East region.
 
Please convey our sincere sympathy to the families of the perished members of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.”
