Serbian Peacekeepers Safe in Mali
-The latest tragedy that happened in Mali, where eight members of the United Nations’ forces were killed, is a great tragedy. It is a tumultuous and dangerous area where almost 100 members of the UN mission have already tragically lost their lives, but our public and families must know that our three members in the mission in Mali are all right and that they are safe. They were very far from the scene of the event. Of course, we will continue taking care of them, and taking care of all the people wherever we have our units deployed.
They are well, and they are in a medical team, together with their German colleagues and they are executing their tasks making the country proud of them. We hope that it will be like that in the future – Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin emphasised during the visit to the training ground “Peskovi”.
