Pilots killed in the Super Galeb G-4 crash



Two pilots, Lieutenant Colonel Nenad Culibrk from the Air Force and Air Defence Command and Captain Dejan Pandurovic from the 252nd Training Squadron of the 204th Air Force Brigade, were killed today in the crash of the trainer-fighter “Super Galeb G-4”.

The Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic and the Chief of General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic are on their way to the crash site.

Within his competence, the Defence Minister has tasked the Defence Inspectorate with conducting extraordinary inspection, whereas the Chief of General Staff has formed the Commission tasked with determining the circumstances of the emergency led by Brigadier General Dusko Zarkovic.

The investigating judge and public prosecutor are on the site. The investigation is ongoing.

The trainer-fighter “Super Galeb G-4”, two-seat plane of the Air Force and Air Defence, crashed today around 10.30 around the village of Slatina, near Sabac, during a routine training flight.
