Contract with Societe Generale bank signed




Потписан  уговор са Societe General банкомDefence Minister Zoran Djordjevic and Chairman of the Management Committee of Societe Generale Bank Serbia ad Belgrade Goran Pitic signed a contract for the implementation of the 2016 Long-Term Home Loan Programme for professional military personnel.

Societe Generale Bank Serbia ad Beograd is the first bank that has signed a contract for implementing the Programme in 2016. Thus, the bank continued the tradition of the only bank that has participated in the implementation of the programme every year since its introduction in 2008.

The interest of the members of the Armed Forces in these loans grew from year to year and so far this was the way in which 2265 of officers and non-commissioned officers in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces solved their housing issue.Потписан  уговор са Societe General банком

In the Budget Fund for financing the housing needs, the Ministry of Defence this year provided 462 million dinars. From this fund means are provided for the part of the loans in the amount of 14 to 25 percent of its value that a professional soldier returns after repayment to the bank, the last five years with an interest rate of 0.1 percent annually.

Subsidized housing loans through the Long-Term Home Loan Programme offer a number of advantages compared to commercial loans with commercial banks including the granting of loans without down payment, lower interest rate, not necessarily newly constructed building, no age limit for applying for the loan, and the like.
