Promotion of reserve officers of the Serbian Armed Forces



The ceremony to mark the completion of schooling for the reserve officers in the Military Academy and the Military Medical Academy generation "September 2015" was held today in the "General Jovan Miskovic" barracks in Belgrade. After six months of training, 56 of them were produced in the rank of reserve second lieutenant of the Serbian Armed Forces by the Decree of the President of the Republic.
 
The three first ranked, Stefan Bozic (9.64), Nikola Markovic (9.55) and Milos Obrenovic (9.45), were presented awards by the Chief of the National Defence of the Military Academy Colonel Miroslav Talijan.
 
Medical service reserve officers who have achieved the best results during the education Andrijana Calic (9.63), Nikola Nikolic (9.58) and Zarko Nikolov (9.53) were presented awards by Head of the Sector for Education and Scientific Research Colonel Miroslav Brocic.
 
Addressing the audience, the best Second Lieutenant Stefan Bozic, pointed out that he was honoured to stand in front of the line of his peers.
 
- The highlight of our training is the spirit of unity and the best thing is that we will continue to bear it with us – the first ranked said.
 
Chief of the National Defence School Colonel Dr Miroslav Talian stressed in his speech, congratulating the youngest reserve second lieutenants, that in the 21st century knowledge is the best defence against all forms of hostile activities directed towards the defence and security system.
