Minister Gasic at slava of the Municipality of Obrenovac
The Municipality of Obrenovac and the Church Municipality of Obrenovac marked their slava today – Pentecost. On this occasion, with the co-service of many priests, the Divine Liturgy was held at the Obrenovac church, with a litany organized afterwards. The celebration of the slava of Obrenovac was also attended by Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic.With the clergy and representatives of the municipality, the litany also included the citizens of Obrenovac, and participants of the 14th Children’s Folklore Festival. The litany moved along the regular path, down Kralja Petra, Vuka Karadzica and Milosa Obrenovica streets.
The litany was greeted by representatives of the Municipality headed by President of the Municipality Miroslav Cuckovic in front of the building of the Municipality of Obrenovac. There, the slava bread was cut. With congratulations on the slava, the clergy of the Obrenovac church wished the management of the Municipality to conducted the entrusted tasks with plenty understanding and wisdom.
