Defence Minister and the Ambassador of Libya on military cooperation
Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic talked to the Ambassador of Libya Tajouri Sh. Tajouri about intensifying cooperation in the field of defence.One of the conclusions drawn during the meeting was that there is a mutual interest in advancement of cooperation between the two countries, but that the mandatory condition is signing of the international Defense Cooperation Agreement.
Minister Gasic stressed that it is necessary to recommence cooperation in the field of military education, military economy and scientific technology, considering how there are capacities and possibilities needed for it.
At the same time, Defence Minister thanked for the solidarity and aid provided by Libyan students for the victims of the disastrous floods.
Ambassador Tajouri expects an exchange of visits on higher level, immediately after the election and duty takeover of the new Minister of Defence of that country, and, on this occasion, he invited Minister Gasic to visit Libya in the Next period.
