Films for "Zastava Film" jubilee

In commemoration of 65 years since the founding of "Zastava film" Military Film Centre, seven films produced by the house were shown tonight at the Yugoslav Film Archives.

Director of the MFC "Zastava film" Lieutenant Colonel Mate Vujnovc welcomed the audience and pointed out that the film night is the right way to mark such a jubilee.

Professor Nikola Lorencin, a longtime friend of the "Zastava film" congratulated the house on decades-long continuity in the field of film, and praised the cooperation with important names in that field.

- The path which "Zastava" crossed is a gritty and thorough one. In the ranks of Belgrade producers it stood firmly, especially in the area that relates to the short form – documentary, animated and short fiction. I hope you will continue to pursue this path, Professor Lorencin said.

In the cinema tonight the following films were shown: "Peace Detachment", "To needlework", "Camouflage", "Death of farmer Djurica" then "Accordion", "Train" and "The history of the defence industry".
