Kindergarten "Hero Major Goran Savic" opens in Novi Banovci
Kindergarten "Hero Major Goran Savic", was officially opened today in Banovci, named in the memory of the dead pilot of the Army of Serbia whose selfless act saved the lives of many people of Stara Pazova. The opening was attended by the chairman of the National Assembly of Republic of Serbia, Nenad Stefanovic, Air Force Commander of the Serbian Army Major General Ranko Zivak, commander of the 204th Aviation Brigade, Brigadier General Predrag Bandic, wife of the deceased pilot Gordana Savic with her children, the authorities of Stara and Nova Pazova, Novi banovci of the Serbian Orthodox clergy and citizens of Novi Banovci and the environment.- This is a facility that guarantees the future of our country and shows that the municipal authorities had the vision thus by investing 50 million RSD made an important infrastructure project. I am particularly pleased that we decided to call the nursery Major Goran Savic, who, in his selfless act showed how one should love their people, and this is how the citizens of Banovci and local government repaid his act- said the President of the Assembly Nenad Stefanovic.
- The opening of the preschool symbolises is the link between the present and the future, people who are doing their job professionally, fighting to save lives and technique, but unfortunately were unable to save themselves. This is also a new beginning. The facility that will bear the name of Major Goran Savic, in which the generation of children begin their path in life, continues his mission. I am sure that you kids when they grow up and find out who Major Goran Savic was, and finding his heroic virtues, will understand the importance of education in this institutions that bears his name - said General Ranko Zivak, noting that the project continued good cooperation between the Serbian Army Aviation and especially 204 Aviation Brigade from Batajnica and the surrounding villages.This belief was confirmed by the brigade commander, Brigadier General Predrag Bandic noting that the idea of building kindergarten in Banovci is just the result of good cooperation between local authorities 204 Aviation Brigade and the Army of Serbia in general, which lasts for years.
The kindergarten covers the area of 800 square meters and has the capacity to accommodate two hundred children. In addition to the funds allocated for the building, additional 10 million RSD have been invested in the approaches to the facility. Soon the people in Stari Banovci, Belegis, Vojka will get similar facilities and next year it will also Stara and Nova Pazova will get kindergartens as well.
