Filming 2nd season of "The Military Academy" series starts
The first take of the next season of the series "Military Academy" was filmed today in the area of the military university institutions in Belgrade.Series director Dejan Zecevic said that in the second season to be shown a lot of new things that will be different from the previous one.
- The audience will see the old characters in new situations. We have tried to prepare many surprises and introduce new characters. I believe that the second season will be more interesting and attractive than the previous one, because it involves the continuation of the life of cadets at the third and fourth years, which means more time at the airport "Batajnica" as well as scenes of planes and helicopters, Zecevic said.
Head of Public Relations of the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Petar Boskovic that the making of the series has been met with full support of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
- Series "Military Academy" in an interesting and original way of making the military life more approachable to public and young people, and this is the target group of the series. It is an artistic experience and a view of the Military Academy, as the action takes place in an authentic military premises of the Military and the Military Academy and at the airport "Batajnica." Cadet life is certainly different from the lives of actors in the series, and this is something that attracts the attention of young people because it shows the hard, honest and responsible officer's profession, as pointed out by Colonel Boskovic.In the second season premiere attended by more than 60 actors, including, in addition to the old cast, some new actors.
According to the script by Gordan Mihic, directed by Dejan Zecevic, the series was filmed under the auspices of the Serbian Ministry of Defence, Military Academy and all of its members, and produced by Nire PRO production company for Radio Television Serbia.Life of male and female cadets of the Military Academy is based on true characters and events. The actors starring in the series are Radovan Vujovic, Bojan Peric, Tijana Pececnic, Dragan Dabovic, Ivan Mihajlovic, Branko Jankovic, Jelisaveta Orasanin, Tamara Dragicevic, Anja Stanic, Iskra Brajovic Nikola Rakocevic together with Ljubomir Bandovic, Nebojsa Milovanovic, Branislav Lecic, Milos Timotijevic, Voja Brajovic Dara Dzokic, Vlasta Velisavljevic and others.
