Minister Gašić visits “Prva Iskra” in Barič
Today, Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić visited the manufacturing facilities of “Prva Iskra – Namenska Proizvodnja”, a defence industry company headquartered in Barič, where he met with the company’s management to discuss its operations and production processes.
The management briefed Minister Gašić on the company’s recent performance. The meeting also focused on plans to enhance production through investments in new explosives manufacturing and storage facilities.The Minister of Defence stressed that the goal was to ensure modern manufacturing facilities and establish conditions for the stable, sustainable development of the national defence industry.
- Investing in the manufacturing capabilities of our defence industry is of key importance for strengthening our capabilities and maintaining our technological and manufacturing independence. “Prva Iskra” plays an important role in the defence industry system and continued investments in new facilities will boost production capacity, improve manufacturing processes and establish conditions for further development – Minister Gašić said.
