Exclusive footage of Exercise Victor 2026 held in Pešter
The Tactical Live Fire Exercise Victor 2026 has drawn a lot of public attention, so the Ministry of Defence has decided to publish part of the exclusive footage shot during the preparations for the exercise and its execution at the Pešter temporary training area.
The exercise brought together more than 2000 Serbian Armed Forces personnel and featured more than 500 items of key military equipment. Participating units of the Army and the Air Force, alongside the Special Forces, conducted live-fire exercises, tactical drills, training flights, as well as bombing and missile strikes against ground targets.The execution of tactical and fire missions involved the employment of newly introduced and modernised weapons systems and military equipment.
The live-fire exercise was conducted using modernised tanks and other armoured vehicles, combat planes and helicopters, air defence missile systems, anti-tank missile systems, artillery systems, various types of unmanned and robotic platforms, and a wide range of modern small arms.The Joint Exercise Victor 2026 began in late August and will run through early October. The activities conducted so far have confirmed a high level of proficiency, readiness and professionalism of Serbian Armed Forces personnel, as well as their ability to use new and modernised weapons and systems effectively. Simultaneously, a high level of coordination and interoperability was demonstrated in responding to contemporary challenges, risks and threats to the security of the Republic of Serbia.
