President Vučić arrives at Pešter temporary training area
The President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, has arrived at the Pešter temporary training area, where he will attend the Distinguished Visitors’ Day for the Joint Tactical Live-Fire Exercise Victor 2026.
The President of Serbia was welcomed by Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić and the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, after which he received a report in front of the Honour Guard.President Vučić authorized the commencement of the exercise, the objective of which is to further enhance the proficiency and readiness of Serbian Armed Forces commands and units for the preparation and execution of combat operations, as well as for organising joint action, collaboration and force protection. During the exercise, particular emphasis will be placed on the employment of newly introduced and modernised weapons and military equipment of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The Joint Tactical Live-Fire Exercise Victor 2026 is jointly conducted by units of the Army, Air Force and Air Defence, Special Forces and the Military Police.
