Serbian Armed Forces to intensify training under all weather conditions
Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, held a working meeting today at the Ribnica Barracks in Kraljevo with commanders of the Serbian Armed Forces’ operational elements and special operations units.
The meeting, also attended by heads of different General Staff directorates, focused on key training activities for the upcoming period. Discussions also covered the progress of critical tasks and projects, as well as the security situation in the country and the surrounding region affecting potentially the operational capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.In his concluding remarks, General Mojsilović provided specific guidance for future activities and expressed his expectation that the commanders would ensure the full implementation of development projects in line with established priorities. He expressed his satisfaction with the fact that the units had rapidly adopted the newly acquired systems and equipment and successfully achieved initial operational capabilities. According to him, the priority now is intensive training under complex tactical conditions that will ensure a high level of proficiency among professional personnel and the full utilization of the combat capabilities offered by modern weaponry.
General Mojsilović commended the members of the Serbian Armed Forces for serving their homeland with dedication and professionalism and added that the military must be prepared for important tasks and challenges lying ahead. He emphasized that, with the strong support of the state leadership, the equipping of forces with modern weaponry, military equipment, and ordnance would continue, as well as the strengthening of the Serbian Armed Forces across all segments.
