President of Angola views display of weapons systems, military equipment



As part of his official visit to the Republic of Serbia, the President of the Republic of Angola, João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, visited the Military Technical Institute today, where he viewed a display of selected weapons systems and military equipment. The delegation was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dačić, State Secretary in the Ministry of Defence Mile Jelić, and the Head of the Defence Technologies Department, Material Resources Sector, Major General Slavko Rakić, Ph.D.
During the tour, the Angolan president was presented with weapons systems and military equipment developed domestically and produced for the Serbian Armed Forces.
The display showcased artillery-missile systems, armoured combat vehicles, air defence systems, small arms, remotely-piloted unmanned platforms, telecommunications equipment, various types of drones, anti-drone systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as different types of ammunition and other equipment.
