SAF deploys additional capabilities to support water supply in Čačak
Since last night, the Serbian Armed Forces have deployed additional personnel and equipment to support citizens of Čačak, affected by shortages of drinking water due to a malfunction in the regional “Rzav” water supply system.
Military personnel have already been engaged for several days in Čačak and Gornji Milanovac, delivering water using water tankers. Yesterday, additional tankers were deployed to the area, along with high-capacity containers and water storage tanks.Military water tankers are deployed near the Čačak General Hospital and in multiple locations throughout Čačak, where they are distributing drinking water to residents, in cooperation with the local self-government and competent services. The Serbian Armed Forces will also deploy a water tanker with drinking water to the municipality of Lučani today. The Serbian Armed Forces will remain on site until the regular water supply is stabilized, and additional forces will be deployed if needed.

The Serbian Armed Forces remain ready, as always before, to assist citizens, and to deploy available personnel and resources whenever they are needed the most, whether to support water supply efforts or to respond to natural disasters and other emergencies.
