Serbian Armed Forces provide water supply assistance in Čačak, Gornji Milanovac

At the request of local authorities, members of the Serbian Armed Forces have been deployed to help provide drinking water to the residents of Čačak and Gornji Milanovac.
The drinking water shortage in this part of Serbia was caused by a rupture in the main pipeline in the village of Gorobilje and the suspension of water supply from the Rzav system, so members of the Serbian Armed Forces stepped in to assist, as on many occasions before.

Serbian Armed Forces’ water tankers have been deployed to the Čačak General Hospital and to locations throughout Čačak and Gornji Milanovac, where they are distributing drinking water to residents according to schedules coordinated by local utility companies. They will remain on site until the regular water supply is stabilized.
The Serbian Armed Forces remain ready, as always before, to assist citizens, and to deploy available personnel and resources whenever they are needed the most, whether to support water supply efforts or to respond to natural disasters and other emergencies.
