Field training for military service volunteers
Military service volunteers (March 2026 intake), who are training at the Army Training Centre for infantry, artillery, and armoured specialities, are currently undergoing intensive field training at the Pasuljanske Livade training ground.
In field conditions, the soldiers are consolidating the knowledge acquired in classrooms and on training grounds at the Centre in Požarevac. The training is focused on rehearsing defensive and offensive tactics and procedures, as well as on dry-fire and live-fire practices using collective weapons. In addition to tactical and fire missions, the March intake is also trained in the organisation of life and work in field conditions. This includes setting up and arranging encampments, preparing meals, living in tents, and conducting 10-kilometre marches with full equipment.
This activity represents the final phase of individual specialized training. Upon returning to the barracks in Požarevac, the soldiers will undergo a skills assessment, after which they will be assigned to Serbian Armed Forces units for three months of collective training, until the end of their military service.Soldiers interested in becoming professional service members can apply now, so that they can complete the admission procedure on time and become eligible to join the ranks of professional SAF members as soon as they complete their military service.
