Military doctors provide assistance to residents of villages near Aleksinac, Majdanpek

In support of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia’s efforts to provide better healthcare services to residents in remote and hard-to-reach areas, members of the Serbian Armed Forces have over the past few days carried out several “Military Doctor in the Village” outreach activities.
As part of this week’s activities, doctors and medical technicians of the Serbian Armed Forces, together with colleagues from local healthcare centres, conducted preventive medical examinations at makeshift clinics and carried out home visits for bedridden and mobility-impaired residents in the villages of Mosna and Miroč near Majdanpek, as well as in the village of Mozgovo near Aleksinac. During the visits, humanitarian packages containing basic food supplies, provided by the Red Cross, were also distributed.

As in previous initiatives, members of the Serbian Armed Forces were warmly welcomed by local residents, who expressed their gratitude for the assistance and emphasized that they can always count on the Serbian Armed Force whenever support is needed.
The “Military Doctor in the Village” initiative is one of many civil-military cooperation projects implemented by the Serbian Armed Forces in all parts of the Republic of Serbia with the aim of improving the quality of life for the citizens of our country and fostering the unbreakable bond between the military and the people.
