Career Orientation Fair introduces young people to military profession
The Career Orientation Fair, promoting education and employment within the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, was held for the first time in Belgrade today. The event took place at the Sava Terrace in Kalemegdan Park, where visitors were able to learn more about education options, job opportunities, and career development within the defence system.
Members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, in cooperation with the National Employment Service, presented employment opportunities to the public, and visitors also had the chance to see a display of weapons and military equipment used by SAF units.Visitors spoke with members of the Army, the Air Force and Air Defence, the Training Command, the Defence University, the Guard, the Signal Brigade, as well as with representatives of various organizational units within the Ministry of Defence.
The fair also presented the benefits of studying and working within the defence system, such as permanent employment, opportunities for professional development and career advancement, reduced years of service for retirement, and access to health services in military medical facilities.
