Members of Hungarian Defence Forces attend training at CBRN Centre
Members of the Hungarian Defence Forces have completed specialized training involving operations with toxic chemical agents at the Serbian Armed Forces CBRN Training Centre in Kruševac.
Under the expert guidance of instructors from the CBRN Training Centre, Hungarian CBRN personnel spent five days practicing CBRN actions and procedures for working in contaminated areas. The practical phase of the training was conducted at the Ravnjak training area, which offers perfect conditions for practicing procedures and protective measures for the detection of chemicals, decontamination of terrain and facilities, and the sampling of toxic chemicals.
By participating in this training course, the Hungarian CBRN specialists broadened their knowledge of toxic chemical agents and protective measures, while also gaining hands-on experience of working in environments contaminated with these substances.
The CBRN Training Centre in Kruševac has been training Hungarian soldiers and officers to work with toxic chemical agents since 2016. This programme is one component of the broad bilateral military cooperation between Serbia and Hungary, which is mutually beneficial and aimed at strengthening operational capabilities, mutual trust, and good neighbourly relations.
