Meeting with Secretary General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Benin
Acting Assistant Minister for Defence Policy Predrag Bandić met today with Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Benin Franck Armel Afuku.
Assistant Minister Bandić, on behalf of the Minister of Defence, welcomed the delegation from the Republic of Benin to Serbia and noted that the two countries share historic ties and friendly relations founded on mutual respect and cooperation.He highlighted that Serbia, as a neutral country, builds its relations with other countries on the basis of equality and mutual respect and advocates for the consistent observance of international law, the preservation of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of all countries, as well as the strengthening of peace and stability.
Secretary General Afuku thanked the Ministry of Defence for the warm reception, expressing hope that cooperation would continue to develop in line with the interest of both countries, highlighting areas of particular interest.
