Visit to 608th Logistics Base unit
The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, visited today a unit of the 608th Logistics Base in the greater Belgrade area, where strategic reserves and munitions stocks are stored and safeguarded.
During the visit, General Mojsilović was briefed on stock levels and storage capacity, as well as on the organization of daily activities, the conditions in which personnel carry out their tasks, and their competence for the duties they perform.Major General Saša Petrović, Head of the Logistics Department (J-4) of the General Staff, briefed the Chief of the General Staff on the execution of priority tasks within the Serbian Armed Forces’ logistics support system, while Brigadier General Ivan Krulj, Commander of the 608th Logistics Base, briefed him on munitions stock levels in depots under the unit’s responsibility.
Following the visit, the Chief of the General Staff expressed his satisfaction with the strong levels of both operational and strategic reserves, the progress made within the unit, the improved conditions for munitions storage, and the readiness of professional personnel to ensure uninterrupted logistical support to Serbian Armed Forces units during operations.
