Serbian Ministry of Defence delegation visits Slovakia

A delegation from the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, led by Acting Assistant Minister for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović, has visited the Slovak Republic at the invitation of Martin Vojtašovič, State Secretary of the Slovak Ministry of Defence.
During the visit, the delegation had meetings with Martin Čatloš, Slovak National Armaments Director, and Robert Bestro, Director General of the Defence Policy Division. Part of the discussions were attended by the Slovak Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Robert Kaliňák. The discussions also focused on opportunities to further enhance military-technical cooperation through potential projects aimed at joint development and production of modern weapons, to be implemented at the level of the two ministries.
During the visit, the Serbian delegation toured the facilities of Slovakia’s defence industry companies ZTS-Special and Konštrukta Defence, which operate under the national joint stock company DMD Group. During the tour, our delegation was given a presentation on the companies’ capabilities and current product lines.
The visit represents a step forward in strengthening military-technical cooperation between Serbia and the Slovak Republic. It opens new opportunities for collaboration between the two countries’ defence industries, as well as between their ministries of defence in the areas of research, development, and production of weapons and military equipment to meet the needs of both armed forces.
